A microfiber cutting pad is used with a cutting compound alongside our professional-grade tools to remove 85%+ of the correctable defects. This is done by literally resurfacing the top level of the clear coat. The second step in a 2 stage paint correction is polishing to bring out the shine and gloss by removing hazing and enhancing the paint clarity.
