  • What is Paint Correction?

Have you ever seen what looks like spider webs on your car paint under the sun or a street lamp? Paint Correction can remove these various imperfections on the surface of your vehicle that is reflected back by light. This is done by using various techniques, tools, and chemicals to smooth out the painted surfaces. This is a labor-intensive process that requires experience, patience, and attention to detail. The end result enhances the gloss effect and makes your vehicle’s paint look new.

  • How does it work?

This time-consuming process begins with decon, short for “decontamination.” This process is not a simple wash. It starts with a foam bath which helps the dirt and grime fall off the vehicle. Next is Iron Remover, which bleeds all the fallout and metal particles stuck in the paint. Next is the clay bar. We use a clay bar to go over every inch of your vehicle to remove any contaminants that do not come off with regular washing. Next begins the actual paint correction techniques.

The paint correction process first begins with the correction. A microfiber cutting pad is used with a cutting compound alongside our professional-grade tools to remove 85%+ of the correctable defects. This is done by literally resurfacing the top level of the clear coat. The second step in a 2 stage paint correction is polishing to bring out the shine and gloss by removing hazing and enhancing the paint clarity. Imagine your clear coat being your kitchen window and your paint is the beautiful outdoors: if the window is dirty and opaque, your view of the outside is affected. By refinishing the clear coat and increasing clarity, your paintwork will look clean and clear and POP with an enhanced gloss effect.

  • Why is it important?

Paint correction is an important part for any individual who cares about the condition of their exterior paint.
Bringing back the car’s true paint condition and
enhancing the gloss during the polishing stage.
Not only that, it is an “A must-do” before the process when
Ceramic coating a car or installing paint protection film.
